Revell-Monogram Aircraft 1/48 F86D Sabre Dog Fighter Kit

Although similar to the F-86A Sabre, the Sabre Dog was nearly a completely new beast. It was longer than the original and carried both an advanced flight control system and sophisticated radar for night interceptions. Additionally, it carried a new armament of 24 fin-stabilized rockets. Despite the inherent inaccuracy of these weapons, it was thought that even a single hit from the rockets was far more damaging than any likely number of hits from .50 caliber weapons.
