Refund Policy

Our Returns and Refund policy lasts 30 days from the date of delivery of your shipment. If 30 days have gone by since your date of delivery, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or replace any merchandise.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging (including shrink wrapping). All returns must have an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number clearly marked on the outside of the return carton.

Partial Refunds

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable). Partial refund percentages will be determined by Model Airplane Depot.

Books with obvious signs of use
Any item not in its original condition, as described above, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
Kits that are partially built or with parts removed from the trees

Refunds On Returned Merchandise (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within ten business days.

Sale items (if applicable)

Only regular priced items may be refunded. There are no refunds on sale or clearance merchandise.

Replacements (if applicable)

We do not replace items if they are defective. You will have to contact the manufacturer to take advantage of their warranty for defective merchandise. Do not return defective items to Model Airplane Depot.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will not be refunded.

Depending on product availability, the time it may take for your exchanged product sent to you may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. Model Airplane Depot is not responsible for lost shipments.
